Cristie Ford is an Associate Professor and the Director of the Centre for Business Law at the University of British Columbia’s Allard School of Law. Her research focuses primarily on regulatory theory as it relates to international, US and Canadian financial and securities regulation. Her publications have analyzed novel remedies in securities law enforcement, principles-based approaches to securities regulation, systemic risk regulation and the regulation of financial innovation, and prospects for "responsive" financial regulation.
