A former fellow of the Democracy, Citizenship, and Constitutionalism Program, Africana Studies, and William Fontaine Society at the University of Pennsylvania, Clemmie Harris is a Visiting Assistant Professor of African American Studies and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. Dr. Harris was also a leading advisor to former New York Governor David A. Paterson, where he worked on various policy initiatives, including New York City’s anti-racial profiling policy and anti-stop-and-frisk legislation.
